Fiery Crash In Orange County

A fiery crash is a scary incident. Sometimes miracles happen and people aren’t injured, however that isn’t always the case. Recently there was a fiery wreck and luckily two people were saved from the incident. A small plane crashed on a Friday morning on the 405 Freeway in Orange County. The plane clipped a pickup truck and then finally skidded to a stop against a median as it caught on fire.

The crash happened at the MacArthur Boulevard exit ramp. That is near the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana. The wreck happened as the Cessna 310 was coming in for a landing. There were two passengers on the plane, a sixty-two year old man and his fifty-five year old wife when the plane caught fire. That must have been a terrifying experience for the couple.

According to the reports, the couple did suffer from “critical, traumatic injuries” but luckily they had good vitals when they were moved from the plane. Orange County Fire Capt. Larry Kurtz said that they had to go under surgery Friday night but were thankfully making progress on their recovery.
