Bus Crash Injures People

Head-On Bus Collision Injures 7 people

A head on crash between a bus and an SUV doesn’t sound like it would end well for anyone. A bus is pretty huge and has a lot of power behind it. However in this one recent crash it could have ended way worse for those involved. According to reports, there was an accident where there was a head on crash between an SUV and a bus. The female driver of the bus as well as the five passengers were injured, along with the SUV driver. The all reportedly suffered minor injuries.

According to the Metro’s, Paul Gonzales, the collision happened when the Metro Line 165 bus had been struck by the Eastbound SUV on Vanowen street near the Winnetka Avenue around eight forty that night.

The report stated that the roadwork on Vanowen had reduced the four lanes to two. It appeared that the SUV had struck the K-rail before crossing the center line and then collided with the bus.

Lt. Warren Jones of the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division stated that the male driver of the Chevrolet Suburban, SUV was being investigated for driving while intoxicated. However, no arrest has been made yet. Gonzales also said that the bus had sustained a broken windscreen and some front-end damage from the head-on collision impact.
