Construction Worker Dies After Fall

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department a twenty-seven year old construction worker sadly passed away after falling into a well.

Brian Humphrey who is a fire department spokesman said that the man was being lowered into a fifty foot deep well when the cable some untethered and he fell. Unfortunately he landed face down in the water and the debris.

Of course his co-worker rushed to call for help (911) and members of the department’s urban search and rescue team were sent to the construction site. The construction site is apparently a home being worked on in the 900 block of North Bel Air Road.

According to Humphrey, a rescuer was lowered into the well was found that the man was “beyond medical help”. He was declared dead at the scene

Construction Wall Collapse

Sadly the family of a construction worker have to mourn the loss of man after he was killed after a wall collapsed on him in El Cajon. The family, is suffering and has to fight with the construction company due to them claiming that the construction company is responsible for his death. They say that the company is “willful failure to warn” and “dangerous condition of public property”.

Construction Worker Dies

A worker died Thursday at a construction site in the Bel Air Estates area.

Firefighters were sent to the 800 block of North Stradella Road at about 12:20 p.m. on a report of a “significant medical emergency” about 300 feet down a graded hillside, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.

The accident was being investigated.
