Accidents Reported on ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Magic Kingdom'

In Orlando, Florida two people that were onboard Universal Orlando’s very popular “Harry Potter Forbidden Journey” ride were injured. This raised the number of amusement park accidents  in the park to seven this summer! According to a report, a 66- year old woman suffered hip and pelvis pain. A 19 year old young man suffered a seizure, he had a pre-existing medical condition.

“The Forbidden Journey” is Universal’s main attraction at the “Island’s Adventure.” Walt Disney World is Florida’s largest theme park and from July to September they reported four injuries. Two of those injuries took place in “Magic Kingdom” which is the park’s busiest park.  One of these injuries happened on “Space Mountain.” A 26 year old female suffered nausea, vomiting, and neck pain on the ride according to Disney’s report.

Some of the other injuries reported at the “Magic Kingdom” included a toddler who experienced difficulty breathing. There was a 39 year old man who suffered from a seizure. Then there was a 43 year old woman who was cut on “Humunga Kowabunga” in Disney’s water park, “Typhoon Lagoon.”

Amusement park Accidents are accidents that occur in all types of different amusement parks. This can be large-scale parks like “Disneyland” or Disney World. It could be Six Flags, water parks all the way down to traveling carnivals, animal parks, and state fairs! Even your school carnival could be considered an Amusement Park accident if something would happen. The accidents can involve the park guests or the staff!

While almost everyone loves Amusement Parks, whether it be to work there or play there, accidents that occur there can be very serious and result in permanent injury or even death! Wrongful death lawsuits have been filed against some amusement parks, claiming that the accident resulted in amusement park deaths. Some other serous injuries due to Amusement Parks would be: whiplash, neck and back injuries, heart attacks, broken bones, and internal injuries!
