Crash Still Unsolved 2 Months After Fatal Hit and Run
A tragic hit and run left a San Diego man fatally injured in the driveway of his own home. Two months later after the tragic incident, the crash remains unsolved.
Fifty-two year old, Jack Jackson was found on April 2nd was found lying unconscious in his driveway. His family believe that Mr. Jackson had gone out for a late night walk and then was hit by a car. They speculate that he had tried to crawl home on his hands and knees.
To this very day, almost three months after the incident happened, the suspected hit and run is still unsolved. No arrests have been made and the investigators aren’t quite sure of the location where Jack was hit. They do know he suffered from a broken pelvis and had scrapped up knees and elbows, which lead the investigators to believe that he likely tried to crawl home after he was fatally injured.
Hit and Run Victim’s Family Tries to Cope
Jack’s family are trying to deal with the tragic loss. The family recently had an outdoor benefit for the family to raise money for other families in need. They wanted all the proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts, hats, raffle drawings, and the BBQ and bikini bike car wash to go to “California Victim Compensation Program”. This is a program to help other families and victims of violent crimes.
