Jerramy Stevens Arrested for Suspected DUI
Former Seattle Seahawk tightend player, Jerramy Stevens has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol aka a DUI. Stevens is the now husband of soccer star, Hope Solo. The incident was in Manhattan Beach and Hope was also in the vehicle at the time.
Solo is a big name and makes the U.S. proud playing for the U.S. National Soccer team. However, I doubt anyone could be proud of her behavior when they were pulled over. Apparently she defended her husband and got quite mouthy with the authorities. She even used the “Do you know who we are?” card.
Solo was reportedly quite a pain for the officers and was probably a little tipsy as well. Which is pretty believable since she just got off the hook for a domestic violence case against her nephew and sister. Solo had been accused of going on a “drunken violent tirade”.
Former Football Star Arrested for Possible DUI
Back to the main suspect in this story. According to the officials, Stevens was driving without his head lights at 1:49 in the morning. Probably not the smartest thing to do.
Stevens’ bail has been set at $5,000. Like seriously? That’s NOTHING to a former football star. He is set to appear in court on March 19th in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Even though Stevens has had a very impressive football career, starting off with a former 1st round draft pick, being in the NFL for an actual 9 season and playing for two amazing NFL teams (Seahawks and Buccaneers) , his off the field police record isn’t as fancy. In 2012 he was arrested for getting violent with Solo. However the case was later dropped for lack of evidence. She’s still with him so he must not have hurt her too bad.
