Possible Deliberate Hit and Run Incident Injures Woman
On Thursday a twenty year old young woman suffered some major injuries after being ran down by and SUV. The SUV came roaring out of the nearby strip mall parking lot. The Investigators think that it may have been a deliberate hit and run incident. However, the police are still trying to figure that out for sure at this time. Lt. Voss says that the suspected driver was apparently rushing away from a fight from a nearby lounge. This happened around 1:30 in the morning and near Mission Gorge Place. Police stated that the suspect driver had hit the woman and then kept going. The crash left her with two broken femurs and a possible fractured pelvis.

It is unsure if the woman victim was an innocent bystander or part of the group that had a tussle in the lounge. Lt. Voss thinks that whoever was apart of the fight probably witnessed the incident and know who the driver is however no one is coming forward at this time.
