Police Searching For Hit and Run Driver Who Hit a 10 Year Old
According to the local authorities, the Los Angeles police are now searching for a hit and run driver who hit a 10 year old boy with a vehicle as the 10 year old was crossing the street. The driver left the little boy critically injured.
A surveillance video showed that the driver had swerved to miss hitting the child. However, the vehicle then fled down Main Street after it had hit the 10 year old, According to the police. The impact of the hit caused the little boy to be thrown close to forty feet from the crosswalk.

He left someone lying in the street hurt. To leave somebody like that, especially a 10-year-old boy, is criminal.
The ten year old suffered from head trauma as well as a pelvic fracture and internal bleeding. The boy was rushed to the County/USC Medical Center. He was listed in critical condition then. There was an eleven old also walking with the victim and thankfully was not injured.
The incident happened just a few hours after Assemblyman Mike Gato, proposed a “yellow alert” system that would show descriptions and license plate numbers of vehicles that have been involved in hit and runs previously on the freeway signs.
