Multiple Truck Crash
Crashes. They happen anywhere and anytime. They can involve any amount of vehicles, from one to several. You never know when a crash can and will happen. According to reports, an early morning crash got pretty tangled when a crash happened that involved a beer truck, tow truck, and tour bus. The crash left boxes of Budweiser all over the place, which caused lane closure on the 10 Freeway on June 3rd.
CHP says that the crash was reported around 1:30 in the morning. The incident happened near the Red Cloud Mine Road.
There had to be a SigAlert issued and the left lane of the two lane eastbound side of the Freeway had to be closed down for a bit. The lane was luckily reopened by 3:30 that morning. The right lane had to be closed after that though. It was closed until after 6 in the morning.
Of course that probably took a while to clean up and investigate.
Truck Driver Found Guilty
Christmas is a time for family togetherness. Being together means traveling during the holidays which can sometimes be dangerous and not fun.
On Christmas eve a truck driver sadly killed four people in a fiery crash. He was later convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter.

The prosecutors said that the trucker was driving reckless and ignored the oncoming traffic after he turned his tractor trailer truck off the northbound freeway.

The report said that he was turning onto a road however the truck had mechanical issues and was only going 2 mph as it crossed to the southbound lanes.

Luckily, several of the other drivers were able to avoid the truck. Sadly though, when a van hit the truck it burst into flames. All four people in the van sadly died that day.

According to reports, the truck had previously been cited for mechanical defects.

His sentencing makes sense, since he knew that the truck had issues. He put himself and others at risk and sadly four people paid the ultimate price for his negligence.
