Police Kill Three Dogs After Attack on Man
A man who was being attacked by three dogs just before the police finally arrive and shoot the dogs. They killed one of the attack dogs.
Andrew Ross who was just thirty-two years old, had only band-aids covering his wounds and bruises which he received from the dogs. He described the incident as terrifying encounter with three dogs. The incident happened Wednesday morning.
Ross was walking with his bike near the 1400 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue around 5’clock in the morning when he said that he hear something coming toward him.
Ross describes the accident
I heard some nails, you know, fingernails, about 12 of them, By the time I turned around … teeth.
The Pasadena Police say that the dogs were pit bulls or pit bull mixes. Ross claimed that the dogs seemed to be like the size of an SUV in his mind. He also said that the accident was just like a scary movie. He said that his only thought was to just “get the hell out of the way.”
Soni Canolles is the person who called 911 and reported the incident. They also said that there was a lot of screaming and they heard, “Help, Help, somebody!”
When the Pasadena Police Officers arrived on scene they were warning people to remain or to get back inside. There was a cell phone video released and you can also see the dogs walking south. As the cell phone video continues it shows a Police Officer approaching the dogs. You can see that the dog then come towards the Officer and then the Officer then discharges his firearm.
According to Police Officer, Lt. Tracey Ibarra, he got in close proximity of the dog but the dog kept coming at him. Ultimately the officer had no other choice than to shoot the dog.

Although we believe these dogs were some pit bull type, it’s not the reason this happened, It happened because someone didn’t keep their dog secure.
As of Wednesday Evening the Police are still in search of the owner of the dogs.
