CHP Investigate Motorcyclists Death

The police have said that a motorcyclist was killed on a Saturday morning on the southbound 5 Freeway at Mission Road which is located near Lincoln Heights.

The crash was called in to the authorities around 9:47 in the morning. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) there was another motorist involved as well. The motorcycle eventually hit the center divider which killed the driver. The name of if the driver has not been released at this time.

A representative from the coroner’s office was sent to the scene an hour after the crash. The crash tied up the freeway for the rest of the morning. The emergency responders had trouble reaching the scene due to the high volume of traffic that blocked access just north of the 10 Freeway.

Luckily the lanes started opening up again just after noon. However, there were still significant delays on the 2,5, 110, and 134 into Burbank, Glendale, and South Pasadena.

Motorcycle Kills Man and Injures Woman

The detectives on scene at a motorcycle traffic collision said that the incident killed a man and injured a woman pretty badly.

The Montebello Police Departed stated that the officers had to be sent around 4:43 in the morning to the 4000 block of East Avenida De La Merced for the report of a fatal traffic collision.

Once they arrived to the scene an adult male and female were found with severe injuries.

The preliminary investigation showed that the victims were traveling Eastbound when the man had lost control of his motorcycle and then hit the curb. Both of the victims were thrown from the bike. The driver of the bike had to be transported to the Los Angeles County Medical Center. The man later died from his severe injuries that he had recieved in the crash.

The L.A. County Coroner’s Office was able to identify the man as nineteen year old, Hugo Fragoso or Montebello.

The female victims received some pretty serious injuries in the crash, but is luckily expected to survive.

Investigation on Motorcycle Crash

An investigation has started after a motorcycle crash on Wednesday. It was a single vehicle crash and happened on a rural road in Alpine area. The motorcycle rider sadly passed away. The person who was riding the 1996 Harley- Davidson motorcycle was a fifty-five year old Alpine man. He was ejected in the crash on Japatual Road which is near Hidden Glen Road. The man sadly died just after 2:30 in the late afternoon.

According to CHP (California Highway Patrol) Officer, Kevin Pearlstien, the victims name had to be withheld until the family had been notified of this crash.

It was unclear what actually caused the motorcycle to drift across the double yellow line and onto the should. However, Officer Pearlstein said that at this time, drugs or alcohol wasn’t a factor.
