Motorcyclist Speeding Causes Crash
Speeding. The most exhilarating and dangerous type of rush. Rather it be for fun or because you’re running late. When you speed be prepared for the consequences. People usually get injured in a speeding case.
A speeding incident filled a National City street on a Sunday morning.
Some of the witnesses said that it looked like the motorcyclist was going pretty darn fast at 100 mph. This was before he slammed his motorcycle into a cinder block wall.
Witness, Zaiht Gonzalez Statement:
It looked bad. It was in pieces everywhere. I went to the back to throw out some boxes and the back end of the motorcycle was lifted up against the division wall in the back and the front end was in pieces all over the floor.
The San Diego Police said that an officer saw a motorcyclist run a stop sign around 9:30 in the morning. The cyclist ran the stop sign at Pinecrest Avenue and Murray Ridge Road.
As the officer tried to get the motorcyclist to stop, the biker sped up on the south bound 805. This started a 10 mile police pursuit. The pursuit kept going until the motorcyclist lost control and then crashed. The motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash.

The driver could have at any point stopped for the officers and ultimately his lack of control of the motorcycle led to this very unfortunate outcome.
The motorcyclist was a twenty-three year old male. He also had a twenty-three year old female passenger. The female passenger had to be taken to the Mercy Hospital with serious injuries. She had a broken arm as well as a back injury and multiple abrasions.
People were understandably shocked that all this happened due to a simple traffic violation.

It was unfortunate, something [that] could have been taken care of in minutes, now look at how they ended up.
Motorcycle Crash
Motorcycle crashes are horrible. The rider has very little protection against a wreck.
On Saturday, a motorcyclist sadly died and two other people were seriously injured. This crash happened on Highway 99, which is just south of Elk Grove.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office was able to identify the dead man as Daniel Gregson, 37 years old of Sheridan.
The crash happened around 11:25 in the early afternoon. According to CHP Officer, Michael Bradley, the wreck caused the southbound traffic near Eschinger Raod to be closed for more than two hours.
There were witnesses who reported that one of the motorcycles ran into the back of a pickup truck that had slowed down due to busy traffic. Which is understandable since Motorcycle’s can’t stop as fast as a car or truck. The crash caused a chain reaction of crashes. Two motorcycles and two other vehicles were involved as well.
Onlookers tried to do CPR on Gregson, however he still died at the scene. The other two motorcycle riders had to be taken to a local hospital for major injuries.
