< class=“underline"h2>Woman Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash
Today a woman was sadly killed in the South Los Angeles area. She was in a single-vehicle crash and according to the authorities, three people were injured in the accident.
The California Highway Patrol said that the crash took place near the Central Avenue and the East 124th Street around five after one in the morning.
According to the coroner’s Assitant Chief, Ed Winter the victim in the single-vehicle crash was twenty-three year old Barbara Caldwell.
The California Highway Patrol did report that Barbara Caldwell was riding in the car. The car was driven by the twenty-two year old Compton woman. After the accident she was taken to the hospital for the treatment of her moderate injuries. California Highway Patrol also stated that the other two passengers were also women. They were aged at twenty-three and twenty-five years old and they both were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for their major injures they received in the accident.
California Highway Patrol reported that, according to the preliminary investigation, a 2002 Chrysler was heading southbound on the Central Avenue when it suddenly went ou of control for “unknown reason” then it crashed into a tree. The cause of this accident has yet to be determined and the accident is still under investigation at this time.
