It finally came to a halt when the Escalade smashed through a local furniture store. The store was at the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Valencia Drive. According to Lt. Dunn, the on scene officers detained a female juvenile at the scene. However there was an adult male that fled on foot and hide in a nearby house. Lt. The man came out of hiding after the officers had ordered everyone out of the residence. <p> A video from the scene showed that both the juvenile and the man were placed in handcuffs. However, it is unclear whether either of them were charged or arrested at the time. Police didn't say why they had tried to pull over the Escalde in the first place.
