** Motorcycle and Sedan Crash Leaves Someone Seriously Injured**
Saturday traffic is crazy. Saturday traffic on a holiday week? Even crazier. According to the police, a collision between a motorcycle and a collision between a motorcycle and a sedan happened on the Carlsbad Boulevard on Saturday morning. The crash left a twenty- seven year old resident of Carlsbad pretty seriously injured. The crash had left the road closed for at least four hours.
The Carlsbad police sergeant was performing a traffic stop on Solamar Drive, had hear the crash around seven, forty-five in the morning at a nearby Solamar and Carlsbad Boulevard intersection.
The sergeant had provided some medical aid to the man who had been ejected from his 2007 Suzuki Motorcycle. According to the police, The ambulance then took the victim to Scripps Memorial Hospital which is located in La Jolla for treatment of his major injuries.
** Motorcycle V/S Sedan Crash**
The motorcycle and the 2014 Ford focus who was drove by a fifty year old man from England, were both traveling north on Carlsbad Boulevard. That is when the Ford Sedan had made a right hand turn and turned onto Solamar Drive that is when the motorcycle crashed into the passenger door of the sedan, according to the police.
According to the police, the incident is still under investigation at this time. They do not think that alcohol is a factor in this crash. The north lanes on the Carlsbad Boulevard had been closed from around seven:forty-five in the morning until noon on Saturday while the crews had been investigated and then cleared the area.
So please be careful traveling, especially this week and weekend. Thanksgiving travel will be pretty busy, as well as all the hunters traveling to their hunting spots. You never know when someone just makes a little bit of a sharp turn and cuts you off then you’ll be in an accident too.
