One Car Crash On SeaWorld Drive
On Wednesday, April 9, 2014 there was a single car crash near SeaWorld that left one person dead.
The police say that the woman was driving a red pickup truck on the southbound Interstate 5. She then veered off of the highway that was near the SeaWorld exit. All of this happened just after midnight, at around 1:30 in the morning.
Single Crash Damages the pickup and Tree
According to the police, she missed the guard rail and then crashed into a nearby palm tree. The extreme force of the collision tore up the pickup pretty bad and ended up knocking over the tree as well.
According to the report, the Emergency crews had to rush to the scene and even had to use the “Jaws of Life” to try to free her from the smashed up pickup. The woman was reported to be in her 20’s to 30’s.
The police say that, at this time it is too early to know if she was speeding or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They do not know what really happened, she could have just simply lost control of her vehicle then crashed. At this time the crash is still under police investigation.
