The accident happened around nine thirty that morning. It took place along the southbound Interstate 805 below Adams Avenue just before the off-ramp.
To the investigators, it appears that the woman who was driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee had crashed into a fire hydrant at Adams and Boundary Street. According to San Diego Police Department, Lt. Darryl Hoover, the FBI agent was transported to the local hospital with some minor injuries. The woman was safely pulled from her vehicle and also taken to the local hospital with minor injuries.
Not long after the accident occurred, several FBI officials showed up to remove the weapons and other equipment from the trunk of the wrecked vehicle
According to the NEWS about the SUV Crash:
The off-ramp was blocked by the wreckage but traffic continued going southbound along I-805.
