Police Pursuit Ends in a Crash and Two People Detained
What better way to start a day than a high speed police chase? I personally could think of a few. However, according to the Glendale Police Department Officials, two people have now been detained due to them allegedly leading the police on a pursuit. The pursuit ran through the Glendale area and ended when they came crashing into an unsuspecting driver. The innocent driver had to be sent to the hospital.
According to Sgt. Warren Holmes, the pursuit started around one o’clock in the morning. It started near Central Avenue and the 134 Freeway then ended close to South Brand Boulevard and West Los Feliz Road. No one is real clear about the ending time of the pursuit.
Two People Detained After Police Pursuit
Holmes also said that the two people who were in the car that was part of the pursuit, they tried to flee the scene after they crashed into the second vehicle. However, one of the suspects was quickly captured. The man did suffer some minor scrapes to his head and face and had to be hospitalized. Call me crazy, but that probably wouldn’t have happened if the man hadn’t ran from the police.
The victim’s injuries are unknown at this time. But authorities do know that he had to be hospitalized. Let’s hope the innocent man here, isn’t too badly injured.
Some police officials from the Los Angeles Police Department and the Burbank Police Department came to the scene. As well as having some K-9 police and dogs involved. Police were able to capture the second suspect. Who, they think was the driver of the car. They captured him around three, thirty in the morning, according to Lt. Lola Abrahamian from the Glendale Police Department.
